Lady of Justice

With a scale in one hand and a sword in the other,

There stands the Lady of Justice blindfolded.

What these symbols depict, oh I wonder!

“The sword represents strength of justice”, someone quoted.

I said, “No, it slits the poor and leaves them to suffer”

“The blindfold represents fairness”, someone quoted.

I said, “No, it becomes blind only when facing the tougher”

“The scales depicts balance”, someone quoted.

I said, “No, it bends to the side where currency notes flutter”
